Accessibility statement
This English text is for convenience. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring
In brief
- The site aims at WCAG 2.2 level AA; we do not publish a formal audit report.
- Text, headings and form labels live in the markup, not only in the visual design.
- Photographs are mood images with alternative text; they are not technical manuals.
- The form is handled by FormSubmit, a third party with its own interface.
- Report a barrier via [email protected] or the form; we reply within 2 days.
1. Aim and scope
This statement covers the website resourceworks.digital of Resourceworks B.V., Columbusplein 26, 1056 TS Amsterdam. The Dutch text is authoritative. We want visitors to read the services, rates and guides and to request a session, including with a keyboard, a screen reader or enlarged text.
The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) has, since 28 June 2025, bound a list of products and services, including much consumer e-commerce. Resourceworks does not close a sale in a shopping cart; bookings go by message or phone. We treat that directive as context, not as a badge we claim. Our working target is WCAG 2.2, level AA, from the W3C.
2. What we built into the site
Pages use a logical heading order, a single main region and a skip link into that region. Links name their destination in the text, for example the services overview or the privacy policy. Contrast between text and background is set for longer reading, not only for large titles.
The contact form has labels tied to the fields. Sending requires an explicit consent line that points to privacy. Errors should be readable as text, not colour alone. Images have a short alt attribute in Dutch and English. Motion follows the browser's prefers-reduced-motion setting where the layout supports it.
The language switch between Dutch and English sits in the header; each language has its own URL. Legal pages in English state that the Dutch version governs.
3. Known limits
We have not commissioned an external accessibility test with a public report. This page is a working method, not an auditor's conformance claim.
- The contact form is handled by FormSubmit. After you send, you may land on a page of that party whose contrast, focus order and language we do not control.
- Studio photographs are generated mood images. The alternative text describes the scene, not every piece of gear. They are not a manual for Vocal and speech recording or Band and session recording.
- Rate tables, for example €65 per track of Mastering, are marked up as HTML; on a narrow screen they may need horizontal scrolling.
- PDF or audio delivery of a mix or master after a session sits outside the website; those files follow the format we agree with you, see mix file formats.
4. The building in Amsterdam-West
The studio address is on Columbusplein in Amsterdam-West. Trams 13 and 14 stop at Columbusplein; from there it is about a three-minute walk. By bike you can use the racks along the square in front of the entrance. That covers public transport and bikes, not steps, a lift or the toilet. The building has 3 recording rooms, a live room of 28 m² and 2 booths. We do not hold a measured access file for the premises (doors, level changes, induction loop, a quiet waiting spot).
If you need an adjustment — more time, a companion, a quieter slot, or a question about the route — put that in your message. We look per session at what this building can do. Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00. Closed on Sunday. Call 020 - 707 4829 if a form is awkward. A map link: OpenStreetMap.
5. Feedback and timing
Tell us about missing text, a keyboard trap, contrast you cannot read, or a file you cannot open. Write to [email protected] or use the form. Include the page URL and what you tried. Daan van der Berg is the contact for Resourceworks B.V..
We reply within 2 days. A fix may be an extra text alternative, another path to the same information, or an honest note that something in this building or on this page will not work. No separate accessibility board is attached to this studio.
6. Oversight and law
For personal data the Dutch Data Protection Authority is competent; see the privacy policy. For the European Accessibility Act, where it would apply to a service, market surveillance in the Netherlands sits with the authority designated for that purpose. We do not list extra marks or audits we do not have.
Official WCAG notes: WCAG 2.2 quick reference at the W3C. Cookie choices and the banner: cookie policy.
7. Files and media after a session
Audio delivery — stems, mix or master — follows the job, not an open web page. If you need an extra format (for example a lower bitrate so older hardware can play the file), say so at intake. Revision rounds: 2 as agreed. Archive of working files: 24 months.
Site copy, including the FAQ and the terms, is HTML. We do not send an inaccessible scan as the only version of that information.
