Booking and scheduling
How do I request a session or quote?
Use the contact form, 020 - 707 4829 or [email protected]. Describe service, duration, genre and possible dates. We reply within 2 working days with a proposal based on our rates.
When is my booking firm?
After written agreement on date and block, plus a 40% deposit. Without deposit we do not hold the slot. Details in the terms.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Up to 7 days before the session you can move or cancel free of charge. Closer to the date the deposit may be (partly) forfeited — see cancellation clauses.
By appointment only?
Yes. Hours are Monday to Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00. Closed on Sunday., but we schedule blocks so engineers and rooms are ready. Please do not drop in unannounced.
Weekend response time?
We read mail and forms on working days; replies within 2 working days. The studio is closed on Sunday.
During the session
Should I bring my own engineer?
How many people fit in the live room?
Up to 6 musicians at once. Extra visitors in the control room are limited for focus; discuss via contact beforehand.
What if we run over time?
Extensions only if the next block is free and you agree to overtime — for band work €145 per extra hour. We prefer buffering in the proposal.
Food and drink in the studio?
Water and coffee in the pantry are fine; no food in the live room or booths. Keep headphones and mics clear of moisture and grease.
Files and delivery
What format do you deliver?
By default 24-bit WAV, 48 kHz, or your project rate if provided. Stems aligned from song start. More in the formats guide.
How long do you keep sessions?
24 months after last activity on the project, then deletion per archive policy. Always keep your own backup.
Can I get the full DAW session?
On request when time allows during the session. Mix jobs usually deliver stems plus bounce; plugin licences stay yours or ours as stated on the quote.
How does delivery work after mixing?
You receive a mix bounce and optionally stems. Up to 2 revision rounds are included in the agreed track or album price; extra rounds per rates or hourly.
Remote guests for podcasts?
Yes, within the podcast setup we can prep a line for a remote guest. Test the connection before record day; we do not supply commercial conferencing subscriptions.
Rights and usage
Who owns the recordings?
After full payment for the agreed service we deliver files for your use per the terms. We do not claim copyright in your music; studio material remains your project.
May Resourceworks use my work as a reference?
Only with your prior written consent. We do not publish client names or audio on this site without explicit agreement.
Do you train AI on client audio?
No. We do not use client recordings to train AI models and we do not create voice clones without specific written permission.
Several artists on one track?
Everyone should confirm who delivers which stem and who may release — especially for features. Background: mastering and rights.
Cue sheets for voice-over?
For voice-over to picture we supply timecode notes and exports for editing. Broadcast rights sit with client and producer; we deliver the studio recording.
Payment and invoices
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, consumer prices on the site include 21% VAT. Services also shows ex-VAT columns. Business invoices with 14 days term after approval.
Payment methods?
Bank transfer for deposit and balance; card in the studio where possible. IBAN and reference appear on quotes and invoices from Resourceworks B.V..
When is the balance due?
Studio sessions: usually before or right after the session per quote. Mix/master: per milestones on the quote. Late amounts follow collection and interest clauses.
Invoice to a company?
Yes, with NL888778995B01 and 91428665 on legal notice. Send VAT ID and billing address with booking.
Hidden costs?
Car parking nearby is public tariff; bike racks at the door are free. External musicians, revisions beyond 2 and rush outside hours are quoted separately.
Practical and etiquette
How do I reach the studio?
The studio address is on Columbusplein in Amsterdam-West. Trams 13 and 14 stop at Columbusplein; from there it is about a three-minute walk. By bike you can use the racks along the square in front of the entrance. Address: Columbusplein 26, 1056 TS Amsterdam. Map on contact.
What should I bring for vocals?
Instrumental, lyrics, references and optional in-ears. Tips: prepare for a vocal session. Half day €320 suits many singles.
Can I borrow instruments?
Drum kit, DIs and basic backline are ready for band recording; bring your own guitars and bass. Tune before the session.
Waiting area?
Small pantry and corridor; large entourages we ask to wait outside or at a café on the square so the live room stays calm.
